2026/6/22 村田教授が関西大学全学部対象のデータサイエンス科目で講義を行います．Professor Murata will give a lecture at Data Science Class for all faculties of Kansai University.

2026/6/9 村田教授が三重大学工学部電気電子工学コース，電子情報工学コースの「社会共創概論」で講演を行います．Professor Murata will give a talk in the class "Introduction to Social Co-Creation" for Electrical and Electronic Engineering program and Electronic and Information Engineering program, Department of Engineering, Mie University.

Real-Scale Social Simulations Using Societal Synthetic Populations in Digital Twin
This lecturer shows how to synthesize the population data using statistics, and several applications of synthesized population data in real-scale social simulations including COVID-19 counter-measures. Latest research work in synthetic population and its applications are shown in this talk.
Multi- and Many-Objective Optimizations Using Evolutionary Computation Methods
This talk shows the fundamental knowledge in evolutionary computation methods for many-objective optimization problems. The lecturer received an IEEE Fellow in this research area. Some tips will be shown how to increase the citation of our papers in the research communities.

2026/4/8 ４年生の配属が決まりました．The fourth grade students were assigned to the laboratory.
４年生の配属が決まりました．今年は3名の学生さんたちが新たに加わることになりました．引き続いて社会シミュレーションと創薬の分野でのデータ生成に関する研究を進めていきます．
2026/4/6 卒業生の堀上くんの研究成果が計測自動制御学会論文集に採録されました．Mr. Horigami's paper has been accepted in Society for Instruments and Control Engineers.
3月に卒業した堀上くんの研究成果が計測自動制御学会論文集に採録されました．発行は2026年6月号の予定です．
合成人口データにおける全自治体の就業者への従業地割当て

・要旨
本論文では，就業者の常住地自治体，従業地自治体，産業分類に関する国勢調査を同時に用いた日本全体の従業地割当てのフレームワークを提案する．従来手法では，常住地単位で集計された統計に基づいて，合成人口データの就業者の従業地が割当てられていたため，従業地単位の統計との整合性が欠けていた．本論文では，多次元のIterational Proportional Fitting手法を適用し，大規模な自治体のみに公開されている常住地別・従業地別・産業分類別就業者数を維持しながら，日本全国の自治体の就業者に関する周辺分布制約を満たす分割表を推計する．その後，常住地自治体と産業分類の条件のもと，確率的に従業地自治体を割当てる．従業地の小地域への割当ては，従業地自治体における小地域には，経済センサスを用いて，詳細に割当てる．実験結果により，従業地自治体単位および従業地小地域単位の両者において，統計値との整合性が高まり，全国規模での日中の人口シミュレーションが可能になることを示した．
